Four years ago, when Billy Crystal returned to Broadway in a well-meaning but forgettable musical adaptation of his film “Mr. Saturday Night,” one couldn’t help but wish that he would have just done stand-up comedy or a new one-man show instead, or even just revived “700 Sundays,” his hilarious and moving autobiographical show about growing up on Long Island and losing his father at 15. “860,” Crystal’s new one-man show at the Imperial Theatre, takes its title from the street number of the Pacific Palisades home he and his wife Janice bought in 1979 and lost in the January 2025 wildfires. A sort of sequel to “700 Sundays,” it follows his career and family life as an adult. Scott Ellis’ production places Crystal in a re-creation of his memorabilia-filled office, with projections displaying family photographs and footage from his career.
