Hurricane Isais made it a heavy Thursday night of high school football. University Christian was the lone Super 10 team in action on Thursday night, rolling past Williston 59-6. The Christians (6-2) remained hot as they prepare for a massive Week 9 clash against unbeaten Bradford. Bartram Trail raced back from a three-score deficit to beat host Beachside 33-26. The Bears improved to 6-1 and kept the Barracudas (3-3) winless in district play. Host Creekside stayed in the lead spot in District 1-6A, clobbering Atlantic Coast 46-0. The Knights (5-2) led 25-0 in the opening quarter and 40-0 midway through the second in a defensive romp. Atlantic Coast has lost eight consecutive games dating back to last season and remains one of two Gateway Conference schools still in search of its first win. Parker is also 0-7.
